This year, 4C entered into it’s first dotCOMM award submitting two recent projects.
And the winners are…
The dotCOMM Platinum distinction was awarded to the BOVA Corp web presence, in the microsite category.
The online work done for the non-profit organization RSG1 Foundation, was also recognized with an Honorable Mention in the Pro-bono category.
These awards are particularly gratifying in their own ways:
For one, BOVA had no website before this microsite. The hope is this will act as a hub for additional growth in the future for this third generation, family owned, and well established custom fabricator!
The work on the RSG1 Foundation spun out of ongoing client work and was an opportunity for 4CDesignWorks to provide more than just a website. It was an endeavor that saw the creation of a new brand and identity for the non-profit, guidelines for secondary assets (such as t-shirt designs that can be repeatedly used for annual events), and assist in the strategic creation of a platform that displays simple and direct topics, along with the ever important donation feature!

The dotCOMM Awards are an international competition honoring excellence in web creativity and digital communication. This competition is unique because it reflects the role of creatives in the dynamic web that is transforming how we market and communicate products and services.
dotCOMM Awards’ categories are the elements of the web’s evolving tools. Interactivity, content, design, social media, video, apps, blogs and influencers are all important components of digital public relations, marketing and advertising campaigns. Together, they generate branding, customer engagement and ultimately sales.
Competition entries come from advertising agencies, corporate communication departments, digital shops, public relations firms, and freelancers. Entrants include designers, developers, content producers/copywriters, digital artists, video professionals, account supervisors, creative directors as well as corporate executives.
