4CTechnologies is proud to announce their recent win as the Pittsburgh Regional Social Madness Champions in the small business category. After four intense rounds against the best social media competition the ‘Burgh had to offer, 4CTechnologies came out on top at the regional level.
Only three companies were then honored to represent Pittsburgh at the National Competition, vying for the national championship to win $10,000 for a charity of their choice. 4CTechnologies was honored to compete on behalf of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, a charity that was close to many employees’ and community members’ hearts.
4CTechnologies made it into the Top 20 National Small Businesses before losing in the second round of the National Competition. Though their 2013 Social Madness run is over, 4CTechnologies is grateful for the incredible experience of competing and the great connections they were able to forge with the community through social media.
“We are excited to have build such a great relationship with the Western PA Humane Society throughout this competition, and know it will be one we continue forward into the future,” said 4CTechnologies President John Riley.
It was a pleasure hosting WPHS Executive Director David Janusek at our August Lunch & Learn presentation, and we were honored to make a donation to the shelter on behalf of the company and our employees to thank them for the great work they do in our community.”
Social Madness is a unique competition hosted annually by The Business Journals. This competition measures a company’s social media engagement by counting ‘posts’, ‘likes,’ ‘shares,’ ‘re-tweets,’ and more. According to the Pittsburgh Business Times, last year, nearly 4000 companies participated, together generating nearly three-quarters of a million votes, 14 million new Facebook likes, 2.2 million Twitter followers and more than 202,000 LinkedIn connections. 4CTechnologies maintains a consistent Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube presence.
