Diamond Springs needed a new website to promote its bottled water delivery services and other capabilities. The previous site had reached a point where a shift in technology was needed to facilitate a new customer portal for managing the account, order products, and handle delivery scheduling and billing.
New Website Design
The website development began with a discovery session to obtain the direction of the company and get a sense of what visual direction would best fit those goals. Mood boards were created to showcase various competition and similar industries to get a sense of what is visually possible. Those mood boards were instrumental in the next step of the initial home page designs. From those home page designs, the brighter more progressive direction was selected.
Website Design & Branded Elements
This design features created artwork in the form of stamps to identify different services and create some visual interest as watermarks and icons within the website.
One feature that took a life of its own was the creation of a diamond Icon that also has a “D” created within the negative space. This icon became a graphic treatment applied to frames and created focus on the main navigation area.
We are extremely happy with our revitalized brand and the work that 4CDesignWorks has done for Diamond Springs! The new web design is a welcome update, and the content management system gives our team complete control over our extensive bottled water, filtration, and pantry offerings. In addition, 4C’s understanding of the ARS Mango Web offering was helpful to us, and their guidance concerning our new digital portal and our overall marketing strategy was a key part of the project’s success

The Diamond Springs website was recognized with a Platnum MarCom Award within the Digital Media Website Redesign category.
Customer Web Portal
The customer web portal is built off a system developed by Advantage Route Systems, that has a customized UI (User Interface) done by 4C. This portal replaces the previous e-commerce system and allows for better inventory management, ties into delivery schedules, as well as the accounting/billing.
4CDesignWorks suggested the route of naming the web portal so that employees and customers would refer to it the same way and to help create recognition tied to the Diamond Springs brand. The final name was chosen as Diamond Digital.
