George L. Wilson had worked with 4CDesignWorks on its own website and contained microsite for SteelWorks, but the Door & Glass division needed to have a dedicated website to cater to clients in the region.
A key requirement was to use the recognition and trust that George L Wilson has built in the tri-state area, the Door & Glass website needed to update what was available on the web. Door & Glass installation is a competitive industry in the West Virginia area, and their website had to reflect their position as being one of the best in the state.
Branded Elements
When looking at ways to differentiate the service, a new logo was created that built upon the previous refinement of the “W” within the George L. Wilson branding. The abbreviated logo uses stripes to indicate shine from windows and connects the notable “W” with “D & G” to complete a sister brand.
Website Design
The final website was released with an emphasis on making a quick outreach through either a direct phone call or an estimate request. The services were a key focus, and each received a custom icon to create a unique identifier for each. A glass-like shine is applied with gradients and treatments throughout the website on elements like buttons, navigation, content boxes, and GLW affiliated logos.
