Over that time, we have established a solid relationship, and three different website versions over the years. As part of the evolution of the company, the website designs reflect the continued change of the world-wide-web and NGE itself.
The initial build was a custom .NET program with baked-in CMS which saw a transition into a WordPress website to leverage plugins, functionality, and the ability to adjust themes without having to start from scratch when a major shift in technology or the company takes place.
As a niche provider of geotechnical consulting, NGE needed a website that clearly communicated with their clients. 4CDesignWorks created various designs based on the existing logo for NGE and incorporated the triangle shape into the background of the website. This design element remained present throughout the remainder of NGE’s marketing collateral. After the website went live, NGE also required a tradeshow booth installation, which 4CDesignWorks designed and inspected print production.
The NGE website has won an Honorable Mention from the dotCOMM Awards in the Professional Services Website category.
Website Redesign & Rebuild
The recent website rebuild enhanced categorization functionality for case study projects and updated the overall visual elements, including patterns, secondary graphics, custom icons, and background collage displays. Additionally, the marketing team received CMS training to empower them to be self-reliant for future changes and edits.
