The Marketing Director at Wood Floors & More was looking to update the website to focus on their catering to residential clients and construction outfits that service residential clients as a secondary target. The website was revised to from the previous eCommerce build and switch to bring clients into the showroom to talk to a consultant, rather than try to make bulk purchases online. This approach came paired with a move to a well-traveled store front location.

To cater to the market of residential clients looking to purchase product, the navigation was simplified down to 4 key links (and a home page). The “Learn” page contains some quick facts and information designed to educate viewers, “About” covers company information, and “Showroom” provides a glimpse into the physical store location.  Requirements at the onset were: to make the site responsive (mobile friendly), visually interesting, create relevant content from bits and pieces that previously existed in coupons, previous advertisements, and new copy; a simple contact form, analytic tracking was to be appended, and assistance with hosting and domain management were included.

This project was recognized with an Honorable Mention Hermes Award in the Business to Consumer (B2C) Website category.

Wood Floors & More has been in business for the past twenty (20) years. Now operating off of Route 8 in the north Pittsburgh area. They are the neighborhood flooring expert, serving communities of Allison Park, Shaler, Richland, Gibsonia, Hampton, Glenshaw, Grandview, Bakerstown, and O’hara Township. They work directly with the general public, area property owners, as well as builders/contractors on residential or commercial projects.
