AEC Anniversary With Style
4CDesignWorks continues a strong run of anniversary branding projects for local entities in A. Martini and SMPS Pittsburgh with one for the multi-disciplinary engineering, environmental and consulting firm Sheesley + Associates.
The 5 Year anniversary branding project continues the collaboration of Sheesley + Associates, Build Bold, and 4CDesignWorks. A variety of graphics were needed to support the milestone celebration, starting with the logo design and potential applications. All of this was built off the praised and award-winning Sheesley rebrand and website initiative.
Logo Design Process
Four different logo concepts were created focusing on integrating the “5” and the Sheesley “S cube” icon to push the new brand while celebrating the anniversary. The “Forward” arrow concept direction was a near unanimous favorite. Once that was selected, further refinements were made to get to the final direction.
Applying the new logo
A branding guide sheet was created as a reference for the variations that could be used on light and dark applications. Example applications were also provided to ensure that the logo would hold up in a variety of ways such as on apparel, crafted out of enamel, shown on an email signature, or even fashioned on a coffee mug!
Promotion for the anniversary celebration was done through social media channels of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn, with created graphics used on each for cover and profile imagery on each network.
Website Enhancements
The website additions focused on promoting highlights over the company history through a timeline page. Photos were curated and integrated, while creating a path for users to get to key projects within the website.
