For the third year in a row, 4CDesignWorks has entered projects into the dotCOMM awards and had each entry obtain recognition by being awarded in different categories from the international design community.
Winning Entries include:
The dotCOMM Platinum Award
The My Tyler Account Manager project for Tyler Mountain Water has received the highest distinction within the Mobile/Apps for Business to Consumer (B2C) category.
The dotCOMM Gold Award
The Clista Electric Website was awarded Gold for its website design for Professional services.
The dotCOMM Honorable Mention Award
A. R. Chambers Supply Website was awarded the Honorable Mention for its website design within the AEC Industry (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction).
What is great about these awards and projects:
Let’s face it, 2020 has been a pretty complex year (and we are only half-way through it). With the COVID-19 pandemic still weighing heavily on the world, we try to take the good news where and when possible. These projects were all released this year, with two of them being released during the pandemic. Just like last year and the mention of collaboration being a big part of all of our projects at 4C, each of these truly focus on that key item.
My Tyler Account Manager is an online application and account management system built on a technology dubbed Mango Web. This platform replaced one that had reached its end of life support and 4C had a hand in pushing the application from a UI perspective. Many of the adjustments and suggestions built into this project will likely find their way into the overall product!
The Clista Electric Website has been an account that is a true joy to work on. Helping to bring their branding to another level and differentiate from the typical “sameness” found in this industry has been extremely fun and rewarding.
4C has always played very well in the AEC Industry, and we continue to show that as a strength with multiple awards wins for these projects. The A. R. Chambers website was released in April, and some key development shifts took place to ensure that alerts and notifications were placed at a premium. Being safe in today’s climate is more important than ever, and providing materials, PPE, and having a brick-and-mortar location all demand a heads up to the builder.
